I went out with an attractive woman but... hairy arms

I went out a couple of times with a woman who was attractive, but then one night she wore short sleeves and i noticed she had <super> hairy arms (covered in thick dark hair like a man) and I realised her face kind of reminded me of my brother. She slept over one night but I couldn't even bring myself to kiss her.

I had to stop seeing her.

Is it normal to be turned off so much by something like dark hairy arms on a woman?

      Yes that's good advice most of the time, but I had to also be true to myself and go with my gut instincts.

      Within a week of breaking it off with the hairy arms girl I met one of the loves of my life.

      Everything about the new girl I met was YES on every level. I never regretted that.

        Nothing wrong with having standards based on looks alone. Physical attraction is important, but much of dating is a balancing act. Sometimes you meet someone who's not quite there physically, but they have an awesome personality. Sometimes you meet someone who has all the looks down, but is a shitty human being. It's up to you to figure out where you want to compromise and what you're willing to accept.

        It's a goldilocks thing. The hope is that you'll find someone whose just right.

        Body hair is a fixable problem though.

      Well ask yourself gypsy, if you were single and met a woman who later revealed she had super hairy arms and reminded you of your brother, sister, your mom, or that dog you had as a kid, could you still kiss her?

        I ain't kissing her fucking arms am I? Hell a razor or a depilatory and that problem is solved. Would you not kiss the love of your life if she stopped shaving her legs or pits while you were on a camping trip or something?

          If she was the love of my life of course I would.

          If she was the love of my life I would still kiss her even if she reminded me of Donald Trump or if she had a hairy leg missing and a smelly vagina.

          But she she was not the love of my life.

          (In fact, within a week of breaking things off with hairy arms girl I did meet one of the loves of my life)

    The face thing makes sense to me. And the arms as well.
    It's your prerorgatitieve to not have to be attracted to someone with the face and armpits of a man.
    Just say "I guess this wouldn't make any sense, but when I kiss you...it's like...I'm kissing...my brother" and then she'll say "no, believe me, that makes perfect sense".
