I weigh more than the obese in the class

As the title says i weigh more than the obese kid. You see, all the kids got to the nurse to see if their backs was okay and you had to weigh yourself. And the obese guy had something with 50. I had 64. I am so tiny compared to him so how is it possible?

That's an awfully big difference in weight for the heavier person to appear "tiny" compared to the other. Your perception is probably off or you didn't hear/see his weight quite right.

That said, muscle is about 20% more dense than fat. Him having less dense fat cells or you having denser than average muscle fibers/bundles can make that difference somewhat larger. And bone density/size can make a difference, too. So, two people with significantly different muscle, fat and skeletal make-up can have notably different weight even if their appearance suggests otherwise.

This is why people who go on a diet to reduce fat and weight training program to increase muscle can actually gain weight, but look trimmer. Or people who lose muscle tone and gain some fat when they become sedentary can actually lose weight, but not fit into their clothes.

You have a lot more muscle-mass? Muscle tissue is significantly denser than fat. A guy with very low body fat will look a lot slimmer than someone of the same weight who has a lot of body fat.

You say you're "tiny" compared to the heaviest guy, but do you mean in terms of your girth only? If you're significantly taller than him, then the difference isn't too surprising since bone is even denser than muscle.

Or maybe it's even simpler than that: if you were actually asked to weigh yourselves and self-report your weight, maybe the fattest guy knocked twenty kilos off his weight.
