I wore a really short skirt today and a cute tight sweatshirt-type top. The skirt was plaid and had lace ruffles at the bottom and they were real short. And some cute platform wedge heels. Everywhere I go middle aged ladies look at me with disgust or disbelief almost and a lot of guys turn their heads. I think one of the ladies her jaw almost dropped too, and they can't stop staring, like wth?? What do you think the old ladies are thinking? They hate me? Is this normal for old ladies to be so judgemental??
I am 17 year old female. Also the skirt wasn't so short that it showed any part of my butt. Just below the butt short. Oh ya, it was 95 degrees today so it's not like its inappropriate to wear little. A lot of people wear next to nothing, and also I saw a lot of guys topless even nasty fat dudes with their bellies hanging out, and I don't see them getting dirty looks.     Wear your stuff short, the old ladies are just jealous of your nice 17 year old body. They can't help it there tits hang down to there belly. And there asses are all cellulite. They see you and think back when there tits were perky.

    I think as you get older women realize that you don't have to wear short skirts to be sexy, and it looks like a cry for attention.
    But who cares? Wear what you like! If people stare, so what? Celebrate your body while you're young. Just know that you can still wear anything and be sexy. Not just things that are short and tight.

    All parents are like that even if they're not you're own. I'm only allowed to wear volleyball spandex on the court, I don't mind wearing them but my mom thinks that guys will think that I'm "asking for it" yeah sure mom, I'm wearing kneepads and running shoes...

    The middle age ladies are staring at you in disgust because they are trying to make you feel bad for exploiting how beautiful you are, believe me they would stop being "disgusted" and be like you in a second if they could wear that outfit as good as you do without their c-section scar showing or their fat rolls spilling out over top the skirt.

    Well,you should wear whatever you feel comfortable with,if you like short skirts just wear them,besides that looks sexy,well personally i think that if a girl has a nice body or even an average looking girl wears that,she looks better.
    So just wear whatever you want,fuck people! actually they are full of shit,even though I'm a guy,I've got bad looks from people because of the way i look,or the way i dress, and it's because I look a little extravagant,not exactly like a goth,but kind of similar,a little androgynous,but not gay either,but some people have frowned the way I look,and yeah it pisses me off,there are times when i would like to go and hit them or do something bad to them,but I have had to deal with it,so i'm not so comfortable with myself,but i really want to be
    So just dress the way you feel like,don't care about what people may think,and less an old ignorant woman who doesn't even know how to turn on a computer

    I like wearing short skirts when i feel the coursge mind you sometimes I feel embarassed and insecure in the end.. if you have the confidence then I say go for it and I'm happy for you because sometimes I really wish I had more confidence.

    I like skirts on girls and I don't think it looks cheap. Eva Braun is just a hater prob cuz her legs look like two bagful of mayonnaise and she can't wear skirts. Keep rocking the skirts it makes everyone happy

    wear it if it makes you feel good. if it makes you question yourself than dont. who cares what they think?? i have lots of tattoos and get looked at like a freak when i am out with my kids, like i shouldnt be a parent or something. they dont matter, screw what they think.

    Although there is really nothing wrong with it. You just need to be safe. Their are a lot of crazies out there and would just snatch you up when they have the chance. Have you not seen Ted Bundy?? It's scary stuff! Most but not all guys are pervs..!!

    personally, i don't like wearing short shorts stuff...i don't like the feel of people (especially guys) looking at my bear legs...so those old ladies are probably thinking "what is this girl thinking, wearing such short skirts"...guys might think ur a slut or something...

    If you feel comfortable in it then wear it. I used to wear little skirts when I was your age. Most people judge on appearance though, so be sure what your clothes are saying about you is what you really want them to say...
