I wear earplugs 24/7 too.

It started in childhood. I couldn't stand the sound of certain noises like the clanging of a spoon against a bowl, or my MOTHER chewing gum, or that darn 80's cable box, "click, click, click". Now I can't stand to hear my husbands lisp. What a sin...how could I tell him that.

    That's nothing, I get bothered by the cricket-like sound of electricity in electrical sockets.

    not your fault, i cant fall asleep unless everythings quiet... i hear it when the tv is on in the next room, when they move the chairs in the dining table, the utensils, when they are being put away so.. where can i get some ear plugs?
