You're fine. I shower 2-3 times a week and people say I smell good.

Unless someone has had sports practice every single day and they sweat. ton, I honestly don't understand how people can take a shower every day. It's a waste of water too. I think that it's perfectly fine to take a shower 2 to 3 times a week. Call me weird, but I would go crazy if I took a shower evey day, and I'm a girl! I take a shower about twice a week, maybe 3 times. I wear deodorant, and clean clothes, etc. I just don't feel dirty, and I know I don't smell bad. I also hardly ever get sweaty though either. People always tell me I smell good. Go figure. So for all the germaphobes out there that may tell you that you're gross for not taking a shower every friggin day, tell them to shove off and go clean themselves.

People have a hard time smelling their own body odor.

If you aren't active then you likely have little need to shower every day. Especially if you change and wash your clothes regularly.

However if you don't shower because your lazy.....

Dude, you must be European. Most Europeans (especially Brits) only shower twice a week. I personally can't leave the house in the morning without a shower. I can't stand to be near people that haven't showered recently. Body Odor makes me puke, literally. Do the world a favor and take 5 minutes out of your obviously busy day and clean that stinky ass of yours.

At least rinse off everyday, get all the dead skin off that your body sheds at night. Also, you may start to experience breakouts of acne on other parts of your body. Just saying...

I suffered from severe acne for years and even accutane wouldn't fix it. I think it's ridiculous that people believe the myth that cleanliness is the most important factor in acne. It is definitely not. I finally cured my acne and it wasn't changing the type of soap I use or how often I wash (which was a lot). It's just taking hormone pills to balance your hormones. It has absolutely NOTHING AT ALL to do with hygeine. it's 100% caused by hormones. All of the dermatologists who told me to try a new skin care product were lying and shouldn't tell that to their patients. the ONLY way to reduce acne is to take an oral medication. It annoys me that people thought I was dirty because of my acne when I washed my face 5 times more than anyone else in the world and no matter what I did it didn't matter. The ONLY thing that got rid of my acne was hormone therapy and I don't even wash my face that often anymore and have almost no acne. If you have acne, don't waste your time with topical skin care. There is NO SUCH THING as a topical cure for acne. you HAVE to use pills.

(just fyi, not that I'm super mad at your or anything)

Proactive Solution helps me. And it's not oral.

Personally I believe that washing is a more modern thing to do, 50-60 years ago people would wash once a week, if that, and no one complained then.

Washing also gets rid of all the natural oils and stuff on the body, which I don't think is such a great thing.

Personally I think washing is overrated

Personally, I feel filthy if I don't shower everyday. Besides, I find it a great way to kickstart my day and help get rid of that "just got out of bed" feeling. I'm just more awake and sharp (and, of course, clean) when I shower daily in the morning.

I would say that if you don't feel like taking a full shower everyday, it would be a good idea to wash under your arms and also your private areas. Those are some of the main areas that should be washed pretty often in order to prevent odors.
