I was recently diagnosed with sex addiction

But I'm a woman who just loves to have sex. I don't think that there is anything wrong with me, I'm just a sexually active person. I was told this after it was observed how often I think about sex, but I feel like much like how there are asexual people, it's normal for there to be extra sexual people as well right?

*edited: I was not aware the terms sex addiction and nyphomania were not interchangeable. I had assumed Nymphomania was more commonly recognized. Sorry for using an antiquated term.

That's very interesting, considering that professionals don't use that term and haven't for a while.

Sex addiction and nymphomania aren't the same thing? I thought they were interchangeable.

Nymphomania is not the medical diagnosis any longer.

If you had a real diagnosis, you'd know what the actual word is.

        Still not the correct term.

What a stupid thing to lie about.

I dunno if you're being sincere or not in your proclamation, because of the discrepancy in terms, but that's relatively insignificant. If you really think you have a problem with sex addiction the please check out this link.

Nymphomania is rather an archaic term. Perhaps you just like the sound of the word?

Why can't a woman enjoy a lot of sex like a man does? Enjoy all the sex you can.
