Did I say anything about blaming anyone? But I do blame successive governments of my country for following the us into wars which had nothing to do with Australia, going as far back as Vietnam.
If you know your history, you'll know that the us didn't get into WW2 until it was directly attacked by the Japanese at Pearl Harbor

If you don't take the past into account how can you judge the present, let alone the future? You can't ignore the fact that individuals in all countries on both sides of the Vietnam War are still affected by it, from neglected veterans to people like me who were radicalised by the protests against it.

In one sense it'll be like going to the theatre, sitting back with popcorn to watch the drama unfold.
But 8 years of Trump? What will the world be like? Maybe he will wipe out IS. Or maybe he will go to war with a superpower causing them to attack the US. Trump really is like the embarrassing drunk uncle ...

He identifies as a Christian first of all, and secondly, the country isn't really in such bad shape I think. We have debt, but that's not just because of Obama. That's a cumulation of many factors. If anything, it looks to me like Obama has kept things pretty stable. It's not so easy to come in to a presidency when the economy is awful. People will hate the decisions made no matter what.
I would say the country is probably doing better than it was 8 years ago.
