I'm a woman in my 30's. I have a criminal record thanks to an abusive husband who beat me senseless when there was no money so I stole a credit card and used it.
I'm not a citizen if this country I'm in and I want to be deported back to my homeland. At 18 I was told to renounce my citizenship and become one of the current country in which I reside, but I flatly refused.
Sounds to me it won't matter where you are, you have lots of problems that won't be solved by a change of scenery. For one, if you are 30 and never had a job, it's not going to be easy to find one, anywhere. You could probably use a little help with anger management, but hey, that's just how you sound, maybe you are really a sweet lil thing?
And whose credit card did you steel? Your husband's? That doesn't sound like a criminal offense to me.
If you get deported by the government, they will most likely inform your government of your criminal record, so that might not be the smartest way to get home.
I used to have a friend that decided that she wanted to run away and live in Croatia with some guy she only met on MySpace in 2009. I know that your situation differs but this girl went to Croatia and has been missing for almost 6 years and her family believes she is a victim of sex trafficking. Like I said this doesn't compare to your situation but I feel that it kind of relates to it in the sense that running away from your problems usually does not solve them and can possibly make them a lot worse. Although I am a hypocrite for giving such advice....there is a huge difference between running away and hiding in fear and solving your problems head on with a clear concise plan of attack.
I already have the record. The point is I can't get a job in THIS COUNTRY. It's not fear, clearly that motivates me.

Sounds like your life is already pretty broken...deal with it. Here's some more realistic advice...you can always sell your body...if it isn't like a used up burlap sack by now. You would make quick money and you could easily leave whatever country you dwell in.
Ioncecamesohard, I don't think commenters should say anything nasty to her- in this particular situaion. She's in a bad situation dealing with domestic violence. Her insulting you is pretty trivial in comparison, and it's not worth it. Your first post was inspirational. But she needs help regardless, and she is probably panicking.

why are you on here questioning random people about your life problem?

Maybe if you chose to stay in this country , you can figure out a way somehow to get your record cleaned so you can get a job.

I don't see how it doesn't solve the problem. In the country of my birth, the criminal record would not follow me there.
