i dread death. absolutely dread it. I dont beleive in god or any of that, i wish i did so that i wouldnt fear death so bad. its not the way i die that i fear. but what happens after it? ive always beleived that who/what you are in the next life depends on how you are no. I dont wanna come back as slaughterhouse pig or a rat on a glue trap.
You wont come back, as anything. If your a christian you'll be in Heaven, otherwise, your on Hell. Trust me on this. You dont believe me now but after your dead and burning? You'll remember this.
Your going to die, I would get over that fact while your still alive.
...Religion has helped a lot of people get over the fear of death...but if thats not for you, then dont waist life on thinking about death, because once you die, you wont have that to waist thinking about what you should have done with life.
It's okay, I'm super afraid of dying too. And just getting old in general

watch youtube videos or documentaries on people who've actaully fukn died and gone to hell..its pretty miraculous :)

Accept you're mortality and live your life. Life isnt worth living if it's lived in fear of dying.
Death is one of my favorite "subjects" to talk about. And quite honestly though, im not religious at all. Not to be offencive towards anyone but im an athiest. My mind is mostly based on logic not myth.
Death is a simple thing to understand.
Once you die, you never come back. And if this whole reincarnation thing is true as well as buddah, than once you begin your next life, you never know if it was your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. I do not fear death and ive accepted it. Thats all you need to do. Accept death. You were born to die
things die its the circle of life just like animals die so you can eat them you die so that worms can eat you.
things i think about that make me feel alright about death (maybe they'll work for you):
- reincarnation. Hey if you die, you come back.
- Scientific theory of multiverse as apposed to universe. According to one possibilty, exact replicas of us are made in other universes according to probabilities. Meaning, if you die in this universe, you're alive in others. All possibilities are able to occur (all your dreams come true essentially). True or not, just the thought of this calms me down.
Youll be reincarnated either on this earth plane or the 6 others that are out there.

Two things to say about this.
#1: You gotta die. There was a Greek myth about some guy who was granted everlasting life by the gods. He got so old and shriveled, he looked more like a cricket than a human. Keep that in mind.
#2: the Karmic reincarnation system you're talking about is based on justice. If you're an evil person, you will indeed come back as a slaughterhouse pig or a rat in a glue trap. But good actions will lessen the suffering in future lives, until you work your way up to being a millionaire's baby. So, if you're really that concerned about it, be a good person. Unless you're a mass murderer, a serial rapist or Mel Gibson, it'll help significantly.
Your title says living forever but you talk about reincarnation.. Well I'll speak from your title. Imagine you lived forever, you'd probably keep aging and so will your body. Imagine being a 200 year old crippled and you can't die.. Fun.
Everyone dies. It's absolutely silly to dread death. Just go and try to talk to a pastor about it. You probably think christianity is dumb but you have to try everything. You may not believe in god but he believes in you. He created you to love you. So that when you die you can live forever in the kingdom of heaven. Death isn't really dying. Its being born again in a place full of love.
There are a lot of people who believe in reincarnation or that when u die, your soul becomes part of a universal energy. I don't believe any one can know for sure what happens after u die or that it's right to say that heaven and hell are absolutely where you go. I do believe though, that some kind of spiritual growth in your life now would ease your fear of death, and when I say spiritual growth, I don't mean some world religion necessarily. Belief in the fact that there is some kind of higher power out there is beautiful and comforting.
Well everybody will die eventually, even you. Live with it. Or, should I say die with it.
You won't be coming back. Have you read the bible? There are many other books you can read to renew or grow faith. Just a helpful tip if you're interested. :)
