I want to learn the bagpipes

Maybe it's from my Scottish ancestry, I don't know.

I hear bagpipes and it sends chills down my spine.

Does anyone know what it takes to learn to play? I'm musically inclined. Is it worth the effort?

    I wouldn't mind learning them myself. Except, they're so loud and I often lack lung power.

    Sounds fun. I love playing different insturments but havent learned bagpipes. I have been getting really good at my banjo lately though.

    Primarily, you need big lungs, otherwise you're gonna knock yourself out :p

    Bag pipes, along with the accordion are the two most annoying instruments ever devised.
