I, as a young male, have to urge to kill. I watch Dexter and play Call of Duty... These definatley influence me I assume. I just have the urge to find a guy robbing a convinience store and walk behind him and put a knife in his neck. Or snipe someone. Or have a shootout against terrorists. I would enjoy the rush. I assume it's like playing sports, like paintball but to the extreme. The adrenaline sounds amazing. I want to hide in a bush and surprise someone and kill everyone I see. I wish I could have gone to Vietnam. I'm fast, agile, and have good vision. I have a quick draw and am skilled with bows and guns. Should I join the army? Police? I have the urge the kill. But not innocent people.

    Join the army and kill some ISIS members. But...something about you tells me the only experience of shooting things you have is shooting semen at your bathroom wall...OOOOH!!! Your move.

    It doesn't sound like you could get into the military or the police force. They do psychological testing just to make sure people like you don't get in.

    Being a human it is normal to develop such urges. you said you don't want to kill an innocent person it means that you are able to understand what is wrong and you have a balanced mental state. Being a part of defence for one's country is a nice thing to do. I would suggest you to keep your urge in control in real life situation as your actions may cause damage to innocent people and a shop robber do not deserve to die. I wish you luck for your career in army.

    Your enthusiasm for violence and trying to keep inner urges kind of scares me. I personally don't think you shold join the police or army based on the fact that the army doesn't need anymore violent psychopaths in the field and plus there's apparently enough police officers shooting people randomly without consideration.

    We all get violent thoughts once in a while(some more than others) but do you know any other medium to either release or minimize these urges?

    No, you have a problem. DO NOT join the police or army, we have enough fuck ups who get off on violence there.
    You probably wouldn't make it past the psychological test anyway.
    You sound like you have psychopathy to me. You say that you wouldn't want to kill anyone innocent, but I have the feeling that your idea of who's innocent is severely flawed.
    Someone robbing a convenience store doesn't deserve to die. They're probably a teen, maybe doing it on a dare as a joke.
    You need help before you hurt someone.
