i dont know why but every time i see someone crying or somebody who is lonely i have the feeling of wanting to hug the person, even if i dont know them. its not like i do it, but is it normal to want it?
there's a lyric by james morrison that says 'sometimes I feel so full of love, it just comes spilling out. it's uncomfortable to see...I give it away so easily.' I totally feel like this and the way you described. i think it's just a bunch of love in us wanting to get out. i think it's beautiful...instead of hugging someone random, i would suggest complimenting random people....it makes me feel on top of the world, and gives the same satisfaction as a hug...spread the love!
i saw this one girl crying outside on the bench by walmart and i asked whats wrong and she just shakes her head

It means your a sweet person and Id give you hugs * HUGS *^^ im the same excact way and my teacher thought I was a pycho I dont know why ? I thought hug was the appropiote action when poeple are depressed or unhappy or had a major loss , am I wrong ?
no way me too except alot of people think im trying to like make fun of them or some dumb crap like that but i totally know how you feel
I understand what you mean, but its not always a good idea. Some people think that hugs from random people is strange. It might make them feel akward.
I'd hug you for sure lol. i always hug all my friends cause they are awesome.
I'd ask you to give me an e-hug, but somedays, seeing *hug* on the monitor just doesn't cut it.

I like to hug people too, especially little girls. It gets me in trouble sometimes. I have learned to do it in a ski mask and quickly run away.

it's called having a heart. i do the same thing. i'm a cancer zodiac sign, so i love to care for others :). i just don't do anything unless i know them. but wish i knew the people who was down on themselves, unhappy, etc. so i could show that people do care :). at least i do anyways :).

hah im the same way! my bf is totally not he doesnt care much for other random ppl but i do im like aw look at the old man i wanna give him a hug and make his day! and my bfs like ick why who cares... hah i just love making ppl feel better!! and yes randomly complimenting someone can make u feel super!!
that is way awesome. i feel the same way, but i'm too chicken-s**t to do it yet, lol. BUt you should hug people, it's a good thing. You may just be changing someone's life by doing so.
Perhaps you should askto hug them first then... I know what confused angry people who just been hugged by random strangers are like... and besides, you'd be surprised how many people will let you hug them. As an alternative, walk around like that Juan Mann guy did with a "FREE HUGS" sign on... that should work.
