      You're not the only one to have this desire, I believe its normal, at least it was for me. I was 16 when I started dating my GF, after a couple of years we both went to university and trust was something I was very bad at. I tried to talk to her and seek her help on trust but she found it hard to understand, I never needed to trust anyone and in the situation I was in, it was very difficult for me.
      I suggest trying to talk to her but if that isn't an option, you will be in the situation I found myself, wish I could give more advise on how to overcome it but it never ended well for me.
