I want to eat beehives and anything else shaped like honeycombs??

This isn't a joke, this is real. I've had this since I was about 13 or so and didn't really think much of it. Every time I see a beehive, a wall that's broken and looks like honeycombs, a wound that looks like honeycombs, honeycomb cereal, a honeycomb shape in the cement on the ground, bubble chocolate and more, I really really get a strong urge to eat it.

Does anyone else have this? I seriously fantasize about eating anything that looks like a honeycomb. Someone I know had a wound on their face and it sort of looked like a honeycomb and I was obsessed with how delicious it looked.

Is this at all normal?

Normal. I remember reading one of The Little House on the Prairie picture books, and in that particular story Laura and Mary had been eating Honeycomb. I wanted to try it.

It seems to be fairly difficult to find actual intact honey comb. The closest that I've been able to find is raw honey that contains the propolis. Very healthy stuff, nonetheless. You should also try Bee Pollen, which is actually a superfood, and Royal Jelly.

Really? I've seen it several times at health food and upscale grocery stores. Either a jar of honey with a decent sized chunk of honeycomb in there, or in a square plastic box.

      Or am I missing something?

No, sounds like I am the one who has been missing something. Now that I think of it, I remember seeing a loose honey that had the honeycomb in with it. I think that it may have been by "Gunther". Other than that, it seems as though it might be more of a speciality product where I live, much like Marzipan.
