I want to curl up in a corner and die

You know when sometimes you find a dead spider all curled up in a dusty corner somewhere. Thats what i want to do.

Basically i have already been moving in that direction in recent years. After college i moved around a bit and now i am living on my own in a lonely expensive apartment, I have zero friends, zero hobbies, zero goals, i suffer from soul crushing boredom, anxiety, depression, and feelings of inadequacy

As much as I want to paint a pretty picture I'm with the dude who has no name. Sometimes life sorts itself out and situations are bound to change. But you gotta do something. You can't live a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I SUFFER from Boredom and it sucks. It's not depression, it's just being Bored to death. I TAKE medicine and it helps me, I think you should visit a psychartist.

Just curl up and die then and stop bitching about it to us.

Pity solves no crisis dear. Walk out with your head held high and don't be hopeless. There will always be that someone who can see your lack and fill the spot. So don't hide yourself..you will one day find joy in your life. Every cloud has a silver lining.

No-one is going to knock on your door and give you the gift of a full happy life: we all have to create that for ourselves.

I have felt as you do many times during my life, but it's boring and pointless so I always get sick of it fairly quickly and get up on my feet and do ANYTHING other than stay where I am ... go for a walk, take in a movie, go to the library ANYTHING.

You could also start being grateful for what you do have and repeating out loud when you're in night or when you wake up in the morning or both: I'm grateful for the roof over my head; I'm grateful for the food in the cupboard; I'm grateful I don't live in a warzone ... etc etc etc

Alternatively, you can stay as you are and look forward to a boring pointless life, your choice .... you do realise most of the world's population would be very envious of you?

Get a dog! I'm visualizing myself in your shoes and I think all be okay with a cute dog or a wolf with me.

I'm glad you agree with me. I had a dog, growing up he was my best friend. He past away a few yeas ago and it was like I lost a family member...

It's part of growing up. Look at your grandparents. That's your future.

Most of us don't like our jobs. Most of us aren't where we thought we would be when we were kids. Yet we continue to get up everyday and go through the motions. Why? the hope that one day everything will better. Some of us will get there, some of us won't. But spending your life complaining about it will get you nowhere.
