I cant stop thinking about it but I cannot stop thinking about being someone else. I want to be this other guy because I want to be liked by everyone and popular but I don't know why? I know everyone thinks this from time to time saying "I wish i was him/her" or something but its all I seem to think about. It's like I'm obsessed or something.
I used to feel this way when I was younger. I used to think "why am I me? Why am I not someone else" (kind of deep thinking for a pre-teen) and I remember specifically looking at the 'cool kids' and wanting to be them because everyone liked them.
I think a lot of that is confidence that you will be accepted, not to be confused with not caring what others think, the difference is subtle difference that makes all the difference between being 'cool' and just being a jerk.
The good news is you can be anyone you want. Not literally of course; but if admire a trait in someone why not develop that trait in yourself? You don%%u2019t have to be a carbon copy and you probably don%%u2019t want to be anyway; if you knew those individuals you admire %%u2018perfectly%%u2019 you%%u2019d likely find things about their personality that you DIDN%%u2019T want to emulate.
The main reason that you want to be someone is that you don't like yourself.Or maybe you're simply attracted to others qualities.
You're what you are & you must be proud of it.Try to analyse the good qualities in yourself.Just write down the good qualities in you and think over it.Think about the moments you've been proud of.
Learn to love yourself.Will take sometime but i'm sure one day you'll be proud of yourself.
BE YOURSELF THAT'S THE ONLY PERSON YOU CAN TRUELY BE! YOU CAN'T CHANGE WHO YOU ARE SO BE PROUD OF THE AMAZING PERSON YOU WERE BORN TO BE!
Uhmm. maybe it is called insecurity? idk u liked him? uhmm uhmm i cannot say if it's normal though :| obsessed :)
