I was born to an Irish mother, and an Italian father.
I'm white.
Ever since I was 12, I been wanting to be Japanese,
It makes me sad that I'm not Japanese =(
I think Japanese people [especially the girls] are really pretty,
I love their clothing, The school uniforms, everything.
Is that normal?
You can enjoy Japanese culture/s without having to be Japanese.

Yeah, I kind of feel the same way but think of this: what about the Japanese people? Do you think that they want to be another race or at least live somewhere else?

Of course its normal.. lol. I wish I was black sometimes:D its perfectly okay. You could always get clothes like that if you wanted
I'm starting to think it's pretty normal expecally if you are an American. Most people I know want to be Japanese. I'm pretty sure it has to do with all the anime they watch.
I'm white, but I HAVE thought about having eye surgery to make my eyes look more Asian.
Would it be considered racist if I was to say that I wonder whether Western-style eyes can see more as they're usually shaped larger than Eastern ones?
I'm pretty happy with my race and such, nothing that personally wouldn't change. But I think it's normal. We always want what we can't have; that's just hope humans are.
But just know that the school uniforms aren't what you see on animes. They're not the itty bitty short skirt sailor outfits. They're kinda like the uniforms that private schools in the states wear. Just saying so you know: a lot of people don't realize that.
And I think the women are very pretty also. I also love how the men in Jrock bands look, so that is normal also.

Well, I went through that phase when I was 12 too. >.> I was a huge fan of manga and Japanese culture. And Japanese women are really pretty, so I guess it's only normal to want to be like that.

Im japanese I love it! :) everyone calls me squints but I don't have squinted eyes because I'm German to so I'm a tall Asian 5'8 haha :)))
are you an anime fan? that's the first thing that comes to mind when i think of japanese. i used to watch all kinds of anime.
