I've always been worried about my first time having sex, and thought that if we were both drunk at the time it would be easier and less embarrassing.
I know that your first time should be memorable, but id rather avoid the awkwardness. I wouldn't mind it with a complete stranger even.
As long as i'm drunk during it.

Yeah, and how much more embarrassing is it going to be to regret having drunken sex with a random stranger? Maybe you're not ready to have sex at all if you think this is a good idea!
She never said she wants to have sex with a random stranger she said she wants to have sex whilst drunk.
My advice would be to wait until you've found the right person. I know it sounds lame but when you do you wont even care about these things your worrying about. If theres peer presure at the moment you can either lie about it(most young people do) and tell people you've done it already or tell the truth that your not ready yet.
Liquid courage!! Many people have a drink when they get intimate, it makes you less self conscious. It's fine but only have a little DO NOT HAVE A LOT. Your first time won't be the best time so don't put so much pressure on yourself for some "perfect moment"
I wanted to be too & I was told that meant I probably was not ready for sex. After, I kinda wished I was because your whole life you think of what its suppose to feel like & you dont know what your doing...its just plain awkward & you build it up to be something more than it might turn out to be. hopefully for you it will be as nice as you hope. but think of it this way, if your drunk to get the awkwardness over with, the first time you have sex sober it will still be as awkward. shit happen, life happen so do whatever you feel like doing...its your sex life.

It's normal, hell, that's been going through my mind too, but you can't let that happen. Sex is a beautiful thing that can't just be wasted with a stranger or be forgotten as a result of one drunken moment.

guys never ever have sex with a drunk girl u don't know ur ass will do time for rape..seen it happen all hot in the moment while drunk at the party even took her own clothes off and unbuckled his belt for him 3months later i'm watching a guy who was gonna go places in life sentenced to 10yrs life destoryed...
That is the truth mr.M! Thank God I didn't learn this the hard way myself but I came close enough. (The girl was drunk and the next day she was upset but didn't throw a fit or threaten anything.) If you have any reason to think she will have hazy memories, do not have sex! The next day all she has to do is decide she never would have consented (doesn't matter that she did) and next thing you know, you are being questioned and arrested.
This also applies if she is sober but crazy enough to decide to make a false rape accusation! A rape accusation will stick to you regardless of complete lack of evidence. All it takes is a drunk or pissed off woman.
in my opinion, that's a bad idea. it sounds so cliche to have your first time be magical and passionate and with someone you love deeply, but looking back on my first time (which was totally not magical, not passionate, and with someone i didn't love), i regret everything about it. having sex for the first time is going to be awkward, no matter if you're drunk or sober. but i think it's pretty safe to say that losing your virginity while being drunk is only going to equal deep regret someday down the road.
not to mention, drinking causes you to lose your inhibitions. having poor judgment only increases the risks of having unsafe sex. if you're trashed, are you really going to know (or even care) if he's using a condom? regardless of whether you're already on birth control or not, you can still get stds unless a condom is used.
Unless she has a decent amount of experience it will be an awful expereience for both of you, it is not a good idea.
If your first time is such a big thing that you are contemplating this, then surely you would want to cherish it.

I think it's not a bad idea as long as you don't get too drunk (maybe just buzzed) and also you should already have the right person in mind.

It's normal to be a little nervous, but I don't think it's a good idea to be drunk. You're setting yourself up for a series of bad scenarios. And here's the thing. If you really think you have to be drunk in order to have sex the first time, then maybe you should wait until it's with someone who doesn't make you feel that timid. Sex should just be sex. When sex was "created" it wasn't with the consideration of alcohol haha. Just find the right person and avoid any potential disasters.
i was drunk my first time. it was whatever. i loved the dude. dated for like 2 years. but yeah, super faded when we went "all the way" as one might say.

Its normal but not something I would shoot for you want to remember as much as possible theres only one first time its normal to be shy about being with another naked person but let me tell you from years of bumping and grinding just do it sober there plenty of time to mess your life up with alcohal
