You'll fail at plenty & it won't matter either. Realizing how trivial most failures are is a freeing part of adulthood, but i can tell you if you do nothing and apply for no jobs, you'll already be a jobless failure without even trying.

The fact that you can access the internet and make a coherent post here means you're plenty qualified for many jobs. McDonald's and other restaraunts are actually hard work. Maybe something less physical is up your alley. You can fake confidence until you make it. I'm sure you will do fine, just spend some time finding thevright job if you can afford to.

its scary to me too but once you get out there it will become either once you go through the training and everything (probably) and just remember its totally fine to make mistakes.

I'm sure there are similar paying jobs to McDonalds that may not be as busy or stressing.

Do drugs to get confidence such as coke or something.

I was the same when I was a teenager. After my first few jobs I realized it's okay to come in with no experience and it's okay to fail. And I also thought, "There are so many dumb and irresponsible people in the world who are able to do these jobs. Why can't I?"

I worked at Macdonald for my first job at 18. It’s actually really chill when you get used to it. You have your team to help if you need something. If you screw up I front of a manager though then that is where the fun ends lol. I quit after 4 months cuz it wasn’t for me. I realized that I was worth more in life. I started my own business and now make 10-40k a month.

They will train you. You will do fine. Yeah sure at first you are going to make some mistakes but we all screw up in our jobs sometimes. Over time though, we get better at hiding our mistakes.

    Now about this one -
"We miss 100% of the shots we don't take" -Michael Scott -Wayne Gretzky"

That is true but according to some demotivational poster i saw, it finished with "And statistically speaking, we miss 99% of the shots we DO take."

A decent employer will make sure you don't fail and have the patience to allow for rookie mistakes. Everyone makes them.

We had a late middle age man who was a retired doctor come to work at our coffee shop. A very smart, distinguished man. Guess what. He made all the same blunders as an 18 year old does.

Go get a job, no excuses. It will give you self worth and help you realize we are all just bumbling our way through life.

I once dropped a whole tray of champagne greeting guests at a wedding. It was the most embarrassing thing to happen at my first job. I think everybody fails at some point, you just have to dry yourself off with a hairdryer and laugh it off.

You'll be fine. Everybody's gone through that anxiety. It'll pass soon after you start your job.
