I wanna watch horror movies even though i get nightmares of it.

Sometimes when me and my friends are gonna watch a movie, I really feel like watching a horror movie. The problem is that sometimes after a really scary horror movie I get nightmares or just scared in the dark. Still I would wanna watch a horror movie the next time. IIN?

alright, but know that English is my third language or something and the word 'it' is right because it refers to 'watching horror movies' not just 'horror movies'.

'it' is incorrect since 'movies' is plural, not singular.

Watching horror movies is a phenomenon, in this case singular. Of course horror movies is plural, but i wasn't referring to that.

Maybe you can understand it better if I say it like this: I wanna watch horror movies even though I get nightmares of DOING it. Another example: 'watching horror movies makes me get nightmares', the first three words (watching horror movies) can be replaced by 'it' and not 'them', therefore IT is correct.

If you still don't understand ask somebody else to explain it to you, but don't go correcting people wrongly please.

WRONG: "I wanna watch horror movies even though I get nightmares of DOING it"

CORRECTED: "I want to watch horror movies even though THEY give me nightmares."

OR: 'I want to watch horror movies even though I get nightmares FROM doing it.'

I'm guessing your native language might be Italian since your word 'di' treats 'of' and 'from' as the same thing, that's not how it works in English.

'watching horror movies makes me get nightmares'

This is the kind of sentence that children make as they're learning English. It is more apt to say:

'watching horror movies gives me nightmares'

Anyways, as an native English speaker I thought I'd correct your obnoxious ass and hopefully this will encourage you to take some ESL classes so you learn the proper rules of English grammar and also learn some humility.

It's a joke that someone like you who already admitted that English is a third language for you, thinks you have something to teach to a person whose first language is English.

hahaha I feel so sorry for you for not wanting to understand your own language. For this reason I don't trust on you for the of/from thing anymore, but I hope at least with that you're right. My two American friends agree with me that 'it' is correct anyway, so seriously ask one of your friends and show them my explanation before you start getting so pissed. I was trying to stay polite by the way, I'm just a young girl, not even close to Italian, but now I just want to say that you're acting stupid and ignorant. How old are you?

I don't like horror movies but I like horror documentaries. Recently I watched Super Junior Mystery 6 on YouTube and it scare me really much. I could not watch it by myself. I would bring my laptop in front of my brother so we could watch it together.
