I wanna have a baby, but i'm 18

I felt the same way when I was 18. I even wanted to adopt even though my fiance would of supported whichever decision I chose, I decided to wait & now I am 20 and still waiting at least until am done w/ school like another 3 years, although most of my friends already have kids I can't help to feel like wanting to have a child not because I feel left out or anything like that I just think that being a mother is the most wonderful thig in the world... anyway just try to wait the right time will come : )

Def. wait! Get a pet instead. It will help to redirect all those maternal and paternal instincts. Unless your rich, you don't have the financial resources to raise a child. And there's not much worse than not being able to provide for your child. You don't want that guilt. Don't ruin your life and your future children's lives. Wait till your more prepared.

thats exactly the same as me. I now have a little girl at 19 and wish I would have waited I cannot give her everything and now I can't even enjoy my own life. If not for yourself just wait for your future child it would be better for everyone. I cannot do anything with her and I do not have ANY time to live. I go to work come home go to sleep and don't let me forget she cries every time I'm out of site - I miss her. Please save up first and wait!!

It's normal. Physically, you're more than old enough. Financially, it's a bad decision but that's just our society.

i would say yea it is normal, women have a strong maternal instincts, i dont think there is a specific time u will start to feel like that to be honest.
but if i were u i would wait til u have all ur qualifications, kids are expensive, u wana have a job and qualifications behind u first.

Adopt a kid or wait a few years and have a baby.

I used to cry because I wanted a baby so bad. Now I'm an 18 year old new mom. It's hard as hell. I love my baby more than anything. He's amazing and perfect in every way, I just sometimes wish we wouldve gotten him just a few years later than we did . Don't do it!

You are too young. Smarten the fuck up and wait to have a kid until you are older.

Wow, what is the world coming to? why does every girl in their teenage years want to have a baby?? i'm 18 ok, and i have many friends that had a baby when they were like 16-17-18, and theyve came to me asking what they should do, and ofcourse i say "adoption? abortion?" and they go for it then one of their stupid friends are like "OMGGGG LIKE TOTALLY HAVE A BABY!!" get real people, at this age no one should have a baby unless you are financially comfortable and have a great support system..if you don't, well i guess you would just be stuck with a screaming baby in a tiny ass apartment...women should just wait until their in the mid-20's or later..BUT NOT TOO LATE... you know?

YOU NEED TO WAIT!!! I'm 36 and have a child. You are way too young! It's extremely hard to raise kids. They don't stay babies for long and they become their own people fast! Babies grow into children then teenagers and then adults fast! If you do this now, you'll be stuck and won't be able to pursue your dreams until your older and wrinkly and you will miss out on your youth. You have many many years of child rearing ahead of you.

DON'T WALK DOWN THAT PATH.

I'm not a young mother but I know of PLENTY who wanted babies when they were young and now, they wish they could go back in time and stop themselves so they could enjoy life more before taking on such a huge commitment.

Wait until your older, at least 23-25, then decide on what you wish to do.

Financially, it's wise to continue school and get a career that will provide well for a family.
