I've had boyfriends but I've never been on a real date. My relationships just happened from hanging out, friends, stuff like that. There was never formal dating. Is that normal?

    Yeah, I've never been on a formal date.
    Well, have taken some girlfriends out to dinner, etc but only after already seeing each other for a bit.

    Met most girlfriends from casual interaction like yourself.

    I'm 28 & wouldn't have a clue how to handle a formal first date or even worse a blind date.
    There would probably be a lot of "um, so... do you like stuff?"

    Well technically, hanging out with a friend constitutes as a date since a date is really just you socializing with another human being over meaningless crap before the inevitable fuck.
