I've never been able to sleep at normal hours

Ever since I was a little kid I've NEVER been able to consistently be awake during the day and sleep at night. It's not even that I prefer it, it just happens. At times, not seeing the sun enough gets me into a depression. The only times I've been able to stay awake during the daytime is when I've been obligated to because of classes. I have tried many different ways to fix this and I always end up sleeping during the day no matter what. Is it unhealthy to be like this? Is it insomnia, even though I eventually DO sleep? Does anyone else have this problem?

    I believe it has a lot to do with what particular time of the day you were born, morning/afternoon/evening/night, that affects how you live your life. I honestly try and have often carried jobs that allow me to be up all night and sleep all day. People like us are more connected to the moon, moved and swayed by it's light and it's phases.

    You are probably most interesting and creative and obviously active during the Night Owl hours, like so many of us. Entirely normal.

    Iv`e had the same problem all my adult life, &it`s cost me a few jobs because I`m just so tired in the mornings due to my weird body clock.

    i sleep when the sun comes up, i wait till it rise then i go have good(day) of sleep!

    Yeah I've kinda had the same problem then again you need to self analyze a bit and maybe you'll find the answer but if end up finding the answer and staying in denial like me then you'll never fix your sleeping patterns. You can only truly fix your sleeping patterns if you want to.

    Ever since mankind existed, the sun would come up and people would wake, when the sun would set they would simply go to sleep.

    This is not as possible in this day and age because of so much artificial light.
    While you sleep during the day, that fucks with you because you aren't getting enough sunlight for your internal body clock to work normally. You have to get out there even if your tired and get the sunlight.

    Internet addiction is common. When you cant sleep, are you on the net?

    You may think too much before you go to bed, if this is the case then there are solutions involving psychiatry and other counselling and self counselling options avaliable to you.

    If you smoke before you go to bed, dont let the fire house burn down, and GAG SEX while coughing up alien babies is alrite in the name of jebus loners.

    Ya I got some trouble sleeping as well. I've never been able to sleep properly cause the fat sac of crap that I call "dad" snores frickin loud and the damn house has no insulation on the upper levels so the noise goes through the whole house. having that go on for five years has left me only getting random hours of sleep, sometimes not at all. Also, ear plugs don't help I've tried.
