I've fallen in love with my supposedly straight friend

I've fallen in love with a friend that is in like half of my classes. We're both juniors in high school and while I'm openly gay, he's supposedly straight. I've been attracted to him for years, but have never done anything about it, until recently. I tried to ask him out last week, but when I tried he was talking to another friend and walking away. He registered that I needed to talk to him and ignored me. This crushed my heart, but I still feel like I love him. My friends have all checked out his facebook page and judging from his photos they all said that he's probably gay and just hasn't come out yet. Is this normal? And if it is do you have any advice to give me?

Be sure that your so called friends are not trying to set you up for a fall.

As harsh as this may seem i have seen it happen before.

Agreed. Just because he's friends with you and take those feminine style pics, doesn't mean he's gay. Stop saying he's"supposedly" straight. I was and still am the same and accept everyone yet I'm not bi, gay, or curious. Minus those gay ass self pics.

Back to the point, don't let friends tell you when to try or when to not. You may be gay, but sometimes even women need to man up....MAN THE FUCK UP

Get him somewhat alone, or call, express LIGHTLY how you feel and let him know you understand if he's straight. Let him know, and follow through, that if he's not on the same page that you won't push it again.

Yes, you need to talk to him one on one. Even if you're right about him being bi or gay, it is HIS life and you or no one else have the right to oust him. Doesn't matter how proud you are. Maybe he's slow to come out, and KNOWS you tell your friends EVERYTHING well that means he'll hesitate with coming out to you.

Yeah I agree also. Sometimes friends will tell you what you want to hear because they are doing their job: being friendly. Talk to him, but approach the situation with caution.

If you suck him off and he seems to enjoy it and asks for a repeat performance soon, then you are all set. Make sure you swallow my boy!
