so i've been reaaly good friends with my female cousin for the past 10 years. recently i have been having thoughts about her ranging from just walking in on her naked to us having sex. i don't ever get myself off with these thoughts but i do have them. is it normal for people to think about this?
Idk, apparently it seems normal enough to a lot of people (mostly guys, though there are some of the female cousins who comment too) on this site for some reason. I theorize most of the attraction factor comes from a "ooo, taboo, sexy sexy" thought about the notion, or maybe opportunity/laziness: "no one else is having sex with us, so let's just do it since our parts fit and we're here and bored" type thing.
There could also be an attraction to the "they'll never be a commitment or relationship talk here, so cool, free family strange whenever, no strings!" However, one must take into account...yes, there are strings - you're blood relatives, that's something you had no choice in and can't get out of.
Personally, I hope this is a phase for everyone who goes through it. It's always best to go looking outside of your family for sex. Think of the long term possible consequences. If you still think you and your cousin are well-adjusted, non-emotionally-attached and mentally healthy enough to handle it, well, the choice is yours. As long as you're not harming anyone else (and that doesn't mean doing it when you or she are in a relationship with someone else, reasoning that "what they don't know won't hurt them").
I've known people who have been in the same or similar situations, and they are usually very uncomfortable talking about it or they *say* they regret it (but if sexual activity occurred more than one time, I think they liked it).
My brother fucked two of my cousins and I wished I had. Do what you want. If they will let you, give it to them all...cousins, anyone!
