I've always thought i would die young

Ever since I was a small child I've had this lingering feeling that I would die before getting old. It wasn't something I desired or that distressed me at all. It was like a fact.
Is it normal?

    When I was young I always thought I would die in drunk driving accident before age thirty, but apparently I don't drive drunk. Go figure.
