I note that the shampoos all tell you to use them twice each time. That is probably their corporate conspiracy to get us to use more shampoo. I take no chances, here in prison for embezzlement from my aunt, so I shampoo 34 times each day. My scalp looks like a prune which gives me street cred here.

I guess it's normal, I prefer to use body wash myself. Shampoo is kind of intended for hair.

Totally normal!! I have a friend who shaves his head too (other wise his hair loss would be obvious) and still uses shampoo. The previous post is right about shampoo being better form your scalp then regular soap.
Oops! Wasn't done. The surfactants are like ammonium lauryl sulfate and such, but are more gentle for hair than the ones in body washes, soaps as in bar and dish and laundry soaps. I use it on my puss too.
