I felt like throwing a pop bottle at an ugly chick when she walked past me so I did then I laughed she told me to get a life and called me a loser and then I apologized because I had respect for someone who stood up for herself
she asked me why I threw the pop bottle at her and I said it was because I was bored and then she laughed... then she wanted to hang out tonight which we did because she is friends with one of my friends then she gave me her number
wtf? is that normal

    Lol - I think the real issue is your fifth grade style of flirting, you obviously find this girl attractive on some level otherwise you probably wouldn't have noticed her in the first place and if you did notice her "ugliness" you probably wouldn't have taken the time and energy to throw a bottle at her... and I guess if you had done those things anyways (just for the hell of it..) you definately wouldn't have apologized / agree to hang out with her after. (And also, I'm sure you wouldn't be taking the time to write this on here if you weren't thinking about her right now).
    I'm guessing she's a girl who has features that society/your buddies/MTV tells you isn't hot. So naturally, you felt that the only way to hit on her and keep your reputation would be to ridicule her.
    You obvz have alot of growing up to do, I sincerly hope you find a male role model who's not a complete jack ass so that you have a chance of becoming a decent man. Remember this above everything, open your mind and be yourself.
