I think troops of all nations are useful morons

troops are nothing but useful tools for the few at the top most troops are morons who feel they are protecting their nations and families or dying for something meaningful. the only kind of soldier I can somewhat respect is someone who is only in it for the paycheck and dose not shit out the recycled propaganda the various nations of the world has sold them on. I extend this to all troops of any nation and I feel normal for thinking this. they are also very pathetic when those on top have no more use for them they are discarded like trash.

Seems like most soldiers are 99% of the time against any wars we are in. Seems like only those that are not soldiers want wars.

    You act like they have a choice to go. You said you respect soldiers that just joined for financial reasons. But you have to realize if they get orders and they dont go they're put in prison.

      That's the thing there are more soldiers then those on top if the majority of troops as you claim are agianst war then you'd think that they would grow a pair and stop taking orders. Yes I respect someone who joins for financial reasons but that dose not mean I like them they just aren't as stupid or thick headed. Also I'm not agianst the idea of a national defense force if it's strictly for national defense.

        Some people think like that. During and after the Vietnam war soldiers coming home were called babykillers, disrespected, and no one wanted to hire them for work. It would just be hard to organize something like that. Somebody would snitch and multiple people would get charged with conspiracy and cowardice.

        That's my point I agree with you but it still proves my point. All soliders are cowards that are scared of a few when the majority of them clearly don't agree with the few giving them orders. That or they are bloodthirsty assholes who get off on the chaos they cause.

  And it's getting old each generation uses the same played out excuse to invade other countries. I'm ok with national defense if it was just troops doing that I wouldn't have a problem with it. But no we have to protect people but blowing their shit up in the name of national security. It's all bullshit most people are aware of it at this point and it's insane that people are ok with the prospect of being pawns in a game. Those on top don't care a it nobody but their own no military is the military it's the toy troops of the elite.

    Actually no. My brother wanted to join the British army about 10 years ago. He had dropped out of school and it was the height of the recession, so he was both young and desperate. He also had the idea that there was some honour in getting blown to pieces or taking a man's life for your country (young people are impressionable like that and the army prey on it). Luckily everyone in the family managed to convince him otherwise. He later went back to college and now he's an accountant, so he dodged a bullet there (maybe literally).
