People who cut themselves, heroin junkies,schizophrenics, suicidal people,depresssed people,gay people, autistic people.
I mean I'm just interested in them. I've gone out with a suicidal girl who cuts herself and also a schizophrenic girl. My brother is also autistic and gay. I have some friends who are hroin addicts (well i know them not really friends.
Is this normal?
I have some gay friends who are very nice people. And I'm autistic, but I don't really consider it a disability. I've been underestimated quite a bit, but I shouldn't be because I'm pretty advanced. And I've also been diagnosed with depression.
Suicidal people can't help being so depressed, but what they need is help through medication and/or counseling. The permanent solution is never the right answer, and neither is drugs or intentionally hurting yourself. It's not 'cool' to be that way, it's sad...
Why did you add autistic to your group? Autism doesn't belong. You might as well add cancer victims too.
I don't know if I agree. You could say that all of them, bar gay, are mental abnormalities. Autism is a "mental illness", so is schitzophrenia, so is depression, and self-harm and drug abuse are linked to mental issues as well. Gay is the only one that isn't.
Schizophrenics are most definitely not cool. I can tell from my experience.
I unserstand what you mean but trust me the reality of these things are not very glamourous. From an outside perspective it seems interesting bc it is different and it seems like fun (drugs/drinking) or it seems passionate (suicide/cutting) but if you see the whole picture it just plain sucks.
Do you really think those people are cool? Herion addicts aren't cool, the rest needs help (excluding the gay people of course). I can understand you respect people who are depressed since they're going trough a tough time, but the rest is a little odd.
Of the seven types of people you mentioned, I've known someone of each type. The gay people are the most fun.
Question? Why would it not be normal to think gay people are cool? I'm gay and I'm awesome :) maybe you feel like you can help them
Are you trying to say that you find them cool, or that you are just interested in them and find them fascinating? It's kinda hard to tell.
I used to be a bit like that, but I grew out of it. It's a very teenage way of thinking.
It's not cool to cut yourself or to be depressed, suicidal, mentally ill or a junkie. Being happy, healthy and strong, that's cool :)
Well I'm depressed, was suicidal (now on anti-depressants) and autistic.
I dunno what sort of person you are, but I find people who have... sorta similar circumstances interesting (due to autistic driven curiosity) and am friends with a girl who has had the most fucked up upbringing possible and came out... relatively normal. Also she is pretty much emotionally married to my best friend who will only leave each other for lessons, so if I am with my best friend there is a good chance I'm with her :P
I can understand the autism interest but not the rest of your interests. They really aren't that normal.
you are just very fascinated by people with odd states of mind. i find people like that quite interesting myself but i would never date one. (not because of their problem, its just that i already have enough headaches to deal with)
Those people are NOT cool.
The stories are definitely interesting and that's why shows on TV like this get many viewers.
But people with depression (and many others you mentioned) actually need help through medication or psychology.
It is 'cool' to be healthy and happy.
You're lonely and have no real friends or associates. You might even be a loaner. You think these people are cool because of their rebellious and "un-normal" nature, because society has rejected you first. So now you side with the scum of the society, because after all..... you are embracing what you really are.
I'm sorry about your life.
i think guy people are cool, but not the other ones that you mentioned.
