I think that humans are ugly.

People are not as pretty as my cat. That's just how I feel. People think babies are cute but I would rather hold a kitten or a puppy any day.

It's the raw pink skin - ew. And our junk's all hanging. Even when we were covered by hair it was not beautiful coat like animals have it was scruffy. No wonder we're always wearing other animal's fur and skins. And that in itself is seriously messed up too. Care for a skin lampshade mr bates?

I'm with you. Even the fittest, prettiest (or most handsome) of people pale in comparison to other mammals. Hell, I think crocodiles are far more attractive than most people.

On the plus side, however, at least we wear clothes -- it helps to beautify us a bit (that is, of course, assuming that people have dress sense.)

If you look at yourself long enough, oh boy will you look fucking weird. Stuff placed in akward positions... humans are weird looking.

It's really been irritating me lately; humans don't look all that amazing. Sure, their intelligence is captivating, and their actions are like no other, but we look very animal-like in my opinion. And we don't look nearly as good as other species.
Well, no duh, we ARE animals, but I just can't get it out of my head how (kind of) ugly we are.
Don't get me wrong though. I'm still attracted to other people, it's just that nobody really looks that amazing to me..

What is attractive?? What does it mean? We only generally find things attractive if it helps our survival or replication. Ie hot girl - make babies, cute baby - prolong species, kitten - innocent animal resembling a baby, sunset - natural phenomenon that we are familliar with and related to cycles of nature that help us survive.
Just don't think about it too much, because it doesn't really matter. But surround yourself with what you find beautiful, and regardless if it's best for your survival - it makes you happier than thats what matters.

I sort of agree with you there. Most humans are pretty ugly, at least as ugly as baboons or chimps. A comparative few are what I would consider attractive, and a mere handful are beautiful. Most of them are in Hollywood working for really ugly producers and directors.

I feel the same. I think the genitles in particular are ugly. Things im meant to find attractive just arent. Its bothered me for some time now and have found it hard to be attracted to someone. Maybe its that im too picky or perhaps i have a blocked memory from my childhood thats caused it. Either way it can be a real nuicence particularly with my own self confidence

Hmm this is a little strange. Humans are supposed to be attracted those of the same species. We look for strong traits in our spouses. Such as both sides of the face being perfectly symmetrical. It shows health which in turn is passed to offspring. The most beautiful people have the same amount of space between all of their features. There is even a mathematical equation giving u the exact numbers for these people. But maybe u jus think too much about it. Babies r supposed to look cute to us so that they r taken care of. Haha I wouldn't say abnormal though. Many animals have pretty features. We all like anddislike different things

okay this is really strange to me and i think you might have some self esteem issues if you don't find your own species "good" looking. and buttintoit just to clear things up we wore animal furs in the first place to keep warm.. and it has just kind of carried on through history, it's not because we all secretly wish we looked like animals..

There are different kinds of animals in the world and it is not out of question to consider certain species as ugly.
Homo Sapiens have nothing attractive about them in my opinion. Just like I wouldn't compare a gorilla to a cat, I wouldn't compare a human being to a cat (or any other beautiful animal such as a fox or a wolf).
Personally I feel disgusted looking at other people.
It may not be evolutionary advantageous, and it may not be considered "normal" since I don't often notice other people expressing any special repulsion from the human body, but that's it. There is nothing more to it. It is just a matter of your taste in aesthetics.
I find it strange that people don't notice how disgusting and aesthetically unattractive homo sapiens are, so I am glad that there are people like you who feel the same about this matter.
