I'm not a big fan of piercings or tattoos or any of that kind of stuff. I think a lot of the people who go in for this kind of thing are just sad and attention-seeking.
But I especially hate tattoos on girls. I find them a huge turn-off, it's just so masculine and cheap looking. Also I find piercings on girls pretty horrible too. Is this normal?
Pictures are for walls, soft curvy skin is already sexy. Tattoos are O.K. but most of the time its so unoriginal like a sparrow, or a tribal tattoo. Sorry which tribe are you from?
i also dont like tats or piercings, too me it looks cheap, but hey.....thats just personal opinion

It's not 'normal', as most people would say. In my sense, it is very normal, because you're looking at this idea of piercings and tattoos closely. I personally hate tattoos, and loathe piercings. They're not art, it's puncturing a hole through you and sticking some metal in it that looks pretty.
I don't think you can generalize about people with tattoos - they are popular for some reason - but you can say what tattoos look like on people to you. And to me they look cheap and cheesy at best all the way to a form of freakish & grotesque self mutilation.
Its like everyone joined the circus. But unlike other things that go out of style, when these things do - and they will - they will be hellishly hard to get rid of.
I think you can generalize. Most , if not all judge appearance. Like it or not, tattoos are permanent appearance.
You're right. My comment does sound too general. I do find pretty much all tattoos and piercings horrible, but I don't mean to judge eveybody who has them. It's just sometimes when I see somebody walking down the road and they're covered in piercings and tattoos I think to myself 'gobshite'.
Each to their own but its common place now so chances are any girl you meet will probably have a tattoo somewhere
Actually I don't like Megan Fox at all. It's a combination of her horrible tattoos and her trying-to-look-sexy-just-looking-retarded poses. Just do a google image search for 'megan fox tongue' to see what I mean

Yeah I'm sure if I started a 'Megan Fox' isn't hot topic on this site I'd be seen as downright crazy. She is a lovely looking girl, but I don't like her tattoos, they are a turn off, for sure. And she does look handicapped in a lot of photos I've seen of her.
I know a girl with the most beautiful tattoos. You might change your mind after seeing her :)
I'm a lady and I'm covered! For the record, I'm not attention seeking at all!! I'm practically a hermit. A hermit who enjoys tattoos. But yea, I think you're normal. Some people don't like certain things, even if those things are considered somewhat "normal"

Tattoos are not in the category of feminine and are totally grotesque on girls. I don't at all understand the mass appeal these days.

Totally agree. When I see tattoos on women and gay men, they always have a trashy side to them they are advertising. Not attractive. They probably think men are going to be more attracted but it is the opposite. It is sad. The only place I could maybe tolerate a tattoo is on a military man and then only one on the arm like it used to be.
With Obama care coming, I'm sure more of my tax dollars are going to those idiots to remove the mistake they made.
I'm a girl and I also don't like tattoos, I mean you're pretty much defacing your own skin. =/ But I don't think that automatically makes someone trashy.

I think some piercings are hot on girls (like a nose stud) but not a big tattoo fan.
Yeah i agree, i prefer girls natural, but a few concealed tattoos here and there doesnt bother me though man. ;)

My views on tats and piercings are so the other end of the spectrum than yours... but just coz I view body mods differently to you doesn't mean I'm about to call you a moron for not liking them... The person that said that is clearly much more of a fanny than you!!!
I reckon you're normal for not liking them. Infact those of us who do like it so much we go and get those tats and piercings are actually the less normal ones. Why do we put ourselves through all that pain for starters!!!

Actually I'm an atheist, quite liberal and I have a college degree. As for your friends, that's great. I am an artist and musician, and plenty of my friends have tattoos and piercings too. I don't judge them on it. I personally just feel that a lot of the time it stems from insecurity or some sort of cry for attention, or that my female friends would be more attractive if they didn't have a face full of metal. It's just a personal thing. Hence my posting it on this site, to see if anybody else feels the same way.
The problem comes when young girls are pressured into it by their peers. Even worse, getting them done when they are a bit drunk on holiday. In the UK it is so popular with women that some young girls feel abnormal if they don't have a couple of tats. I find fashion a bit daft at the best of times, but when it is something irreversible, it just seems really stupid. Remember all those items of clothing you absolutely adored when you bought them, but eventually hated?
ugh! do not listent to the 1st person. no one is the same! you may not like tatoos on girls and frankly neither do i. i agree it looks cheep thats why i never have gotten any tatoos. but i guess some people like them they are the morons for drawing on themselves.......
