I think my glasses are evil.

Not evil really. I've had not problems with my other frames, but I just can't sleep with this pair on my face, because I have this fear that my eyes might sink in.

I can't sleep with them on my chest because I fear they might alter my heart rate.

I definitely cannot have them near my head because I always get a headache and I swear they [my glasses] are the culprit.

I know it sounds stupid, and maybe it's just a mind over matter thing, because I've no qualms sleeping with my cell phone near me [which is obviously worse than a pair of glasses!].

I just want to know if anyone else has this issue with their glasses, or any other objects.

put them in a box, then but that box in a bigger box, then put that box in an even bigger box. Mail the final box to yourself and when it arrives smash it to pieces with a hammer!

Could I suggest that you take the glasses OFF before you go to sleep, surely they wont hurt you if they're on the nightstand?

I always think that my glasses were designed to worsen my eyesight.

Why don't you just put your glasses on your bedside table? Just before you go in to your bed. Why would you need your glasses to see when your going to be sleeping anyway?? Good-luck

I agree with all the previous posts haha. But on a serious note, it could be the type of metal the glasses are that your body may be sensitive to.

  • Who sleeps with glasses on? I mean you are sleeping, your eyes are closed, why does it matter if you can't see?

I don't get it. Is it like your glasses possess some power over you, like the power to give you headaches or make you feel like your eyes will sink in? Maybe you should perform an excorcism, LOL!

Sorry but this is not normal. Can't you just put your glasses on your nightstand or something? Why would you wear them to bed? Sounds like a good way to bend them.

Why would you sleep with your goggles on?
You don't need them at that point, they're rather useless.
    Get contact lenses.

Why would you want to sleep with glasses on? Wouldn't they break?

I mean, when you kind of get nap attacked, removal of the glasses isn't the first thought that crosses the mind.

You say that it's mind over matter, but it's actually your mind which is causing the problem! Haha

Your fears are irrational. It might even be an OCDish thing, but I can't tell you for sure. In any case, you shouldn't sleep with your glasses on you anyway, because you'd probably crush them in your sleep, so that would be stupid.

Soo it's a good idea to not sleep with them near you.
