I think i'm turning into my parents?

I'm at university now, and I wasn't an overly popular kid in school and didn't hang out with many kids my age. I was around my parents a lot, and I've picked up a similar taste in music and dress sense to my mother, I also find I handle situations like she would, I even laugh like her. I love science and comic books like my dad does, my favourite subject in school was always physics and I find I have his reserved personality and aptitude for graphic design. It worries because I feel I haven't developed as myself, just a balanced mixture of my parents. IIN?

    Unfortunately normal.

    I find myself repeating things I used to despise my dad for saying.

    I don't dress like him though. I would advise you to be careful in that respect.

      i don't dress like my dad, i'm a girl, i just dress like my mum (she likes floaty shirts and jeans. that kind of thing.)

    Unfortunately (and sometime fortunately) this happens to most of us. There are even habits that I swore I'd never copy, and then one day I find myself copying them.

    Yeah I think I've turned into my mum, only because she was totally overbearing. I sort of resent myself for becoming her.
