I think i lost interest

Hello everyone. I’m currently in a 3 yr, long distance relationship with a wonderful dude, the smartest and most understanding/funny man i ever met, but feelings are starting to fade away...i feel like the distance is no longer working for me. I told him this in a very nuanced way, but nothing changed. Yesterday i hung out with a friend of mine - we drank a lot and cuddled and talked and i feel like i did something very wrong, especially because i think i kinda like him now, i feel like i missed the physical contact, the easyness and quickness of a simple, average, non complicated relationship. My love language is touch and i feel so so lonely given that my bf lives away. Please please give me some advice. It is much needed. Thanks!

    Long distance relationships are not real relationships unless one or both of you regularly travels to meet up. You only get one go at life and you are wasting your time away waiting for someone that’s not there. Give it up and put some fun, sex and companionship into your life.

    I say find a way to be together. As in literally be together in the same place, stop worrying about the nonsense of life like “ya but my job is here” ect. Love is more important. Don’t listen us, listen to your heart, and if your heart says yes or even “probably yes” it’s worth more than anything, so go on! Make that long distance a short distance!

    If you have no more interest then break up, simple as. No one is gonna force you to stay in that relationship.

      Definitely, it’s just that above all my bf is my best friend... i would hate to break his heart and i’m not even 100% sure i want to break up...
