I think i have ocd, but not the stereotypical "adrian monk" kind.

Whenever i touch something with a slight force, with another body part i feel the urge to exert a force equal to or greater than that on a surface. For example, whenever i use my right index finger to type like i'm doing right now, my left one just feels plain weird and there's an awkward feeling. i'm not sure how to explain it, but unless i press hard on my desk, i wont feel normal. I also sometimes feel like i have to turn my neck around to the extent of slight pain in order to feel comfortable. Is any of this normal?

I completely understand. This used to happen more often when I was a child, which was also when I had a heavy bout of OCD.

Nowadays, it comes around every so often, but in less-intrusive ways; like if I touch ice with one hand, I'll desire that cold, hard feeling in the other hand ... it's sort of like hearing a song all the way up until the last resolving chord (if you're into music at all) ... you just have an almost physical desire for resolution.

That's probably not actual OCD. It's perfectly normal for people to do a couple of mildly obsessive-compulsive kind of things and it's generally not considered obsessive-compulsive disorder unless it causes you significant distress.

I do something similar to the first thing you mentioned and I do have OCD. If you accidentally burned your right hand would you then have to purposely burn your left hand or worry and obsess over it until the right hand healed? I think if I accidentally cut off one of my thumbs I'd feel like I had to purposely cut off the other thumb to make it right.
