I think i have a yeast infection. help.

I'm so worried about this. I've moved to egypt with my dad, my mums in england and I think I have a yeast infection. The inside of my vagina area is itchy and I have white thick discharge, my underwear smells but the discharge doesnt. I tried telling my aunt but she said its normal. I cant go to a doctor because I dont know how or where and I dont fluently speak arabic yet. What shall I do? I also have an extremely terrible diet, I eat bread, cheese, crisps, chicken sandwhich for breaky and dinners ussually chicken, meat, rice, pasta, noodles, potatoes. I drink alot of fizzy and hardly ever have water, I eat chocolate too.

Dip a tampon in plain yogurt and insert for a few hours a day for about 5 days.

No more than five times! Too much is harmful!

My ex-girlfriend had a yeast infection.
Try putting a half bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide in a bath five times.

Its only itchy on occasion and it's not red. Maybe its tight clothing and reaction to soap or laundry detergent. I've had thick white discharge for a week or two but its gone back to normal now. I'll sleep without underwear. It kind of hurts a little bit now, but I dont think its dryness, it's pretty moist? Thank you so much for your comment by the way, very helpful. :)

Tell your aunt that it is not normal. You need to see a doctor about it or get some Monistat 3 or something. I would say that you are just experiencing vaginal dryness, which can cause itching, but your diet doesn't seem to help with the theory (no, i'm not making fun of you for your diet, it sounds like a lot of good food (: ) Have you always had white thick vaginal discharge? Is the inner labia of the vagina abnormally red? Are you experiencing any other symptoms? For the time being until you can get something done about it, keep it clean, don't wear tight clothing, don't wear a bathing suit while it is still wet for too long, and if possible sleep without underwear for a while so you can let your vagina breathe/get a little bit of air. The only other thing I think it could be is an allergic reaction to a soap, laundry detergent, etc. Hope this helps!
