I talk in different accents when i'm alone
First of all, let me say, I was born and raised in California and therefore have absolutely NO accent whatsoever, I also live by myself thus I spend a lot of time alone. Now, that being said, when I'm by myself, I talk to myself (not in a schizophrenic sort of way) and I do it in different voices, it's hard to describe but I'll act out scenes from my imagination or I'll be cooking and I'll do it in like a British accent, or a Russian accent, or even a Southern US one. I don't know why, or even when it started, but it's gotten to the point where I'll be with friends and I'll be imitating say a celebrity from another country and I'll do an accent and people are like "Wow you should be an actress..you're so good," and i always feel weird because I can't just up and say "Oh yeah...get a LOT of practice."
Why the hell do I do this and is this normal?
