I suck ass at my job!

I work in a cut throught job, for about 3 years. Every time a new group starts only like 60% will be able to make it. If you get old and slow down you get the boot! However I'm really bad at my job and they keep me there. I don't get why. May people who are much better than me have been let go. I feel like I have mental problems whenever I'm at work. Why do they keep me working? I'm affraid to ask because I don't want to draw any more negative attention to myself.

Any ideas?

    I think you are being too hard on yourself. Please don't ask why you haven't been fired . I am very much older than the other therapists I work with. They could get someone right out of school much cheaper. Find some part of you're job that you really do well and perfect it. Show what a hard worker you are and make yourself likeable to everyone. If they like you that will go a long way. Lighten up on yourself.

    Be thankful you got a job. it's alot of people in this world doesn't even have a job. some are homeless, some have no food, and some can't even take care of their family. why? because they have no job. but you do, BE THANKFUL. this case is close, goodluck.

    You are right this is not normal if this is really the case. You are obviously doing something right or else, these days, you really would not be there. Listen to the feedback you get; maybe you are good with customers, you are good at analyzing information? If it ain't broke don't fit it! Just keep doing what you're doing and so long as you are doing the best job you can you will be fine.
