I still think the simpsons is decent

A lot of people say that The Simpsons now is absolutely terrible. I personally think it is still "meh" at worst, and that it is still better than most other things on free broadcast TV. If The Simpsons was a celebrity, I wouldn't call it washed-up. Personally, I'd think it is just really aged who still has its spark (albeit dimmed). However, I still think it is still decent. And yes, I have watched practically all of the episodes from 1989-1997.

Is this normal?

    Bob's Burgers is still better and do was Futurama. I really don't know how they can continue doing the show. It's been on for so long, it seems to
    me that they would have started to run out of ideas. It wasn't just the lack of good material that lead me to stop being so keen to watch. I didn't like the character evolutions of Bart and Lisa. Bart became a wimp and in one episode, they seemed to insinuate that he was gay for Nelson (the love of his life!). Very unnecessary for his character. Lisa turned into an extremely annoying miniature Hilary Clinton. >_< Her non-stop politics, crusades and changed personality were very off-putting.

    I haven't watched The Simpsons in a really long time. It's alright for you to still like it though.
