I sneeze when i eat chocolate.

I've always loved chocolate. Lately, though, when I'm eating Hershey's kisses, it makes me sneeze. I don't feel sick or anything...I just sneeze. I am /definitely/ not allergic to chocolate, though. Is this normal? What's the deal?

Although you enjoy eating chocolate, you may have a slight allergic reaction.

It's actually completely normal and does NOT mean you are allergic. It occurs in about 20-30% of people. That's common enough to me to be considered "Normal". No reason to be worried or concerned. Here's an article about it:

Also: I did a deep internet search for this because it is something that recently started happening to me. So you can count on my expertise. :)

It sounds like it could be a possible allergic reaction. It may not be the chocolate but instead another ingredient that's causing the issue. Try eliminating certain foods to see if you can pinpoint what's causing the reaction. If you can't figure it out, it could just be Hershey chocolate or you could try seeing a allergist. The problem with allergists is that most tests aren't 100% accurate like that skin pricking test and they usually only test for the common food allergies.

    Good luck!
