The problem is your no longer sober. Your high 24 7, so its not exciting anymore. If you went on the same rollercoaster everyday for 2 years would it be fun? If you went on the rollercoaster once a couple months would it be fun? Your tolerance is so high and your so used to being high that its boring. When you run out of weed take a couple days off every once in awhile.
Take at LEAST a two week tolerance break. It will make a HUGE difference. I had been smoking almost everyday for the later half of this year, and I decided to take a break from it in. I gave in after 18 days which is roughly 2 and 1/2 weeks. I only smoked mid, and I was so fucked up. I felt like I did when I first smoked ak-47 which was some of the strongest weed I ever smoked. It was amazing. Your tolerance will stay low for a while too unless you start blazing constantly again. Give it a try. Next time I'll try an entire month, because that's supposed to be 10 times better than only going two weeks.
Lucien is right. It's just that your brain has become comfortable with the experience of being high and the only way to make it a novel experience again is to take a break every now and then.
I was a chronic puffer for years and liked it, but I stopped about a year and a half ago. I missed it a lot for about two months, then I got over it (thinking every situation would be better if I were stoned). Since then, I've done it a few times with friends, and it only takes a couple of hoots and I'm blasted for hours. The sensitivity does eventually return! =]
When you smoke every day, being in an intoxicated state becomes the new 'normal'.
