I smell everything

I smell tons of stuff as well. I smell my hands at random times to make sure they are clean, as well as my clothes. My favorite thing of all to smell are cats. Nothing like a good whiff of a kitty to make you happy.

I do this all the time. I love to smell things. My partner thinks I'm weird but I can't help it. He says I do it all the time but I never really noticed how much i do it until he brought it up and I now realise he's right. I love nice smells. I have a strong sense of smell so for me, nice smells make me feel good. I smell food, my hair, clothes, plants all sorts of items but never anything horrible (on purpose) I do like the smell of glue and nail salons too. I will smell things that others can't smell. We were recently at a market and I was looking for a stall with scented oils. I could smell it before anyone else and knew where to find it by following my nose! I will get the scent of something and it will bring me memories of a place I've been. Or I'll walk outside and smell flowers that I can't even see. I love the fact I can smell so many beautiful smells. But then again I can also smell bad things with the same heightened ability. Not so good. I can often smell bad smells way after the source is removed. Especially if I've passed someone with really bad personal hygiene. I'll have to blow my nose and smell something nice on purpose to help remove the smell. I don't think I'm weird. Lol.

I cant say I smell everything, and I dont walk around putting things to my nose to smell,thats just weird.I did however grow up with my best friend doing just that, he actually became obsessed with it to the point of taking lessons from a contortionist so he could smell his own ass. Ewh whats that smell.LOL

i too smell everything, just to make sure, i donno how to put it, but i just have to smell stuff

i do this too. mostly with food when i eat at others houses i will smell the silverware or something to make sure its clean. if i dont like the smell of a cup or something i cant eat the food. its rude so i dont let people see me. also with water i can smell water..

Oh I smell everything and I have been that way since I was a baby! I also have always been able to remember certain smells and bring them up again days, weeks or years later when I smell something similar. For example, the other day I smelled something that smelled just like a hotel that I stayed at when I was five years old in Disney! It's crazy!

I smell everything! Literally everything. I just feel the urge to smell anything that I come into contact with; books, towels, CD's.. even things that don't apparently smell of anything. It is slightly embarrassing, people are always telling me to put things down and stop smelling them.

My cousin is exacly like this, no matter what it is; penci cases, urine, fart, clothes, anything new, he basically smelled everything in the house

My mother and my sister both love to smell different things all the time. If they're handed anything they will have a good sniff of it, especially books or magazines. My sister's in her 20's and my mother's in her 50's.

Perhaps you should smell yourself because I can smell you through the computer screen. Ew. :-)
