    Get your prostate checked pronto.

Maybe you have an urinary track infection. Sometimes you have an UTI without the pain and the burning sensation. You just want to pee every minute. Google it and see if you have any other symptoms. Most often it's not very serious and can be treated with anti-biotics. They say that cranberry juice is excellent.

Another possibility, assuming you're female since you mention sitting down to pee, is that you have an ovarian cyst. When they get large enough, they can impinge on your bladder and hinder normal peeing. Cysts are really common and very rarely serious, but they can be damned uncomfortable. You can guess how I know this.

You do need to see a doctor about it.

I'm a woman and over the past couple of months I have noticed that a lot of the time I have trouble going pee. I also have very irregular periods (my last one was in November). Maybe I should get checked for ovarian cysts...

I would definitely get checked for them! I'm dealing with one now that's about the size of a small orange, and I get to find out this Tuesday if I'll need it surgically removed. They can certainly make peeing unpleasant -- among other fun side effects like irregular periods and murderous cramps.

Good luck with it, and if you do have a "little friend," I hope it goes away on its own (they do that sometimes).

You might have a UTI (urinary tract infection) or possibly a blockage of some sort. Does going to the bathroom hurt? How long has this been happening to you? I really think you should see a specialist.
