I see tiny colourful dots in the dark

And I can still see it flying around me when I close my eyes. I only see it when I'm concentrate

    They're called floaters. Its the same thing that happens when a camera flashes and you see all those crazy lights

    If they're coloured flashes, it could also be a detached retina. Don't fool around, get it checked out just to be sure.
