I see the world diffrently

Since i was younger i was always intelligent, i read early, and i was always diffrent in the sense where i saw the world diffrently more logically if you will than the rest of my peers. I have always found it much easier for me to get along with older people be it parents, or just older students at school. I also feel that i can read people very easily which gives me an "ability" if you will to control how people see me and react to me. basically i can make people like me, like a pick up artist except i never close. Any one feel the same way?

There are few things worse than declaring yourself smarter than the average bear, and then blowing it on the grammar and syntax.
You're such a con, you've even fooled yourself.

Intelligence is not measured by one's ability (or disability) to communicate.

hmmm, does grammar and spelling really demonstrate intelligence, or does it just show that u can memorize a bunch of rules? Just put yourself in my shoes however difficult it is for you, and try to give me some wisdom if u have any if not then feel free to continue making assumptions about grammar and intelligence.

You can't claim you see the world differently. That statement is an abhorrence. It's an abhorrence for the fact that you can and have only seen the world in one way, as have we all. You've not jumped into somebody's head and looked through their eyes on the world for any period of time.

So to say that you see the world differently and act as if you're on a higher rung on the ladder of society because of that is moronic. You might be able to fool people into believing your self-perceived super-intelligence, but those that actually are smarter than you will see right through it and you'll be outcast.

Enjoy being king of those lesser than you, but there will always be somebody above you in every aspect of your life and you need to accept that.

i see the world differently... in a constant daydream and my idea of day/time seems to be different to everyone else

I don't think they heard you clearly...which proves your logic. Funny, I don't see anything egotistical about your question. It is normal, not b/c others can relate, but b/c you are very self aware. Not everyone can say the same. Your ability to "read" & "observe" are gifts. Most people don't pay themselves enough attention to know what they are naturally able to decern. They are too busy judging others and allowing this "world" to show them how ;)

I agree with everyone. Learn how to write. Nothing is more annoying than someone who claims their intellegence, and then uses horrible run-on sentences.

That comment was directed general knowledge by the way. Just saying that in some cases, getting good grades is an indicator of intelligence

I think engineers have the right to declare themselves more intelligent than the average bear. We are the ones solving everybody elses problems

'if you will' Why am I so amused by that?

Also, I enjoyed Dan Brown's novels but he wasn't looking at religion in a different way. He just figured out one more way to make a pile of money appear.

I see the OP's ability to see how people would react to his post isn't as good as he thought.

Hmmm...seems to me a truly intelligent person wouldn't feel a need to profess it so much.

    And I know that 1 2 3 4 ........ 100=101x50=5050 when I was 7. And I don't understand why you guys consider Karl Gausse is smart.

I did an IQ test when I was 12. The score is 148. I started writing songs and short novels when I was 5. I speak and write like a grown-up when I was 6. I speak French and Spanish, fluently when I was 8. When I was 7, paper-eater bugs ate all my works. I was angry but I made up my mind within 3 days. Tons of people said I'm the most fun to be around and the nicest person ever.
You said you can make everyone like you. I'm not sure about that since you showed your cockiness around. I know you feel good but that's not likable. A lot of people are like you. Stop thinking you're so good. And if you don't even know that you're being cocky, maybe you're not as smart as you thought.

I think there are alot of different ways to be intelligent. You may be emotionally intelligent. There are also a ton of ways to be really dumb...case in point: writing to random people asking them if your superior intelligence is normal. Are you like the guy from the Mentalist? SPOILER ALERT: he does this in the next episode.

You're lucky you're not THAT bright. it's a bitch being bored and annoyed not just by kids but also by adults by the time you're a child.

I agree with you, because I am in a similar situation.
I will not go into detail but through simply guessing and thus having a poor accuracy I can say that you probably find your peers boring because of their lower ability to calculate information yet fun because you have no one better to hang out with.
Thus you manipulate yourself in order to manipulate them to be your friends.
If I am right please respond.

I'm pretty sure any kid who has a half a brain cell can do this. I could, then I realised how pointless it all was.

    I'm the exact same way.

It's normal, I've grown up in the same setting you have. I hated it when adults treated me like a little kid, because i knew my understanding of logic was greater then the majority of theirs. I'm in an accelerated class where my classmates are all above average, and we all work a year level above us (EG. I'm in year 9, but all my subjects are 10 advanced, and i'm doing year 11 history.)

    Jim_Pfoss,

Personally i've failed most of my spelling tests and it took me a long time to learn how to spell random words, grammar does not always represent someones intelligence.

its good to see the world in a different way (weell in a sane way) most people have boundries to how they see the world but people like you only come round every so often i suggest writing down how you veiw the world and what you think of modern day cultre opinions like yours usally end up bieng published becoming very famous books i mean look at that dan brown person who wrote the da vinci code he saw religion in a different way to everyone else and look how popular his books were

i think that is normal. not for everyone to feel this way, but im sure some do. i do to some extent. I think that maybe you could "close" if you stop and also listen and find interest in other people. You can attract people to you and captivate or impress them, but people get bored with that quickly because what people like talking about more than anything else is themselves. if you dont also genuinely show interest for others, they wont stick around.

omg!!! Im the exact same way.
Except I wouldnt call myself very smart, but i see the world a whole lot differently, and I call it an "abitlity" that i know exactly what to say and if someone likes me

A lot of my creativity actually comes from my dyslexia.

common. anyone who'se IQ is above 125 and under the age of 30 is like that. and if you think that school grades count as intelligence, you're wrong. it just means you can follow orders well. as for reading people, that's common too. anyone can read people, it's just that most people don't know how to react to it. you're a natural born salesman. i'm not being funny. if you can read people, and see things from a logical point of view, you can sell ice to an eskimo. just explain to them the logical reason for buying something in a way that they would like it.

You are an insecure and frightened person. You possibly are intelligent, maybe very much so (although your language really doesn't attest to it). However it's a big world out there, and you know you're nothing special; there are thousands, maybe millions of people who are smarter and better than you. But you wish that people would see you that way, and tell you so. Maybe you've even managed to fool some people into it. Most off all you're trying to fool yourself. That's why you posted this. I feel sorry for you.
