I see dead people!!!

Title says it all, I sometimes see/hear dead people. Why is this and what does it mean? It's happened a total of about 6 times in my life and I do not know why this happens but every time it intrigues me and in a way I kind of like the fact that once in a while I see or hear dead people. I do not consider myself to be any sort of medium or necromancer though and I don't really want to be one.

      it is. completey in my head, call my loony if you'd like but I just hear and see stuff sometimes but am totally sane and not doing drugs

        Don't worry, I wouldn't call someone or you crazy about something like this. But it's not normal for you to see and hear things that aren't there. And it could potentially be dangerous for you, so be careful and try to figure it out so you don't have live with whatever it is you have.

          Live with what? I don't mind any of this, honestly I don't. It's not scary or distressing and the only time it bothers me is if I think of it as a "problem". It also isn't like I hallucinate constantly, just when I zone out/start to go to sleep and very occasionally randomly. To be honest, my experiences are a sort of positive inner guidance for me since I can understand them metaphorically.

            Hmm, I may have jumped to wrong conclusion because of your title. When you say "I see dead people!!!" these exclamation marks me think it's scary dead people or something worse, but I understand now.

    If you "do not consider myself to be any sort of medium or necromancer", have you considered the possibility that you are, using the clinical term here, loony tunes? If this continues, you might want to commit yourself to the (again, the clinical term) loony bin for your own protection?

      yeah, i have for sure, but I'm really not. I function and all just experience these weird inner experiences with these voices and stuff sometimes but it's happened enough that I'm basically just used to it. It just happens at night though like I'll be falling asleep and I just start hearing voices and stuff. These spirits did talk to me though a few times though and that was pretty weird and yeah I did hallucinate a rotting corpse in my room once but all this just seems completely normal in a weird way

          Well of course it isn't normal. I just mean that I'm comfortable with it and that since none of this stuff bothers me and I'm a functional person so I don't see that there is a problem. Although this isn't typical, it isn't unheard of either. A lot of people experience things like I do and don't have any sort of mental problems

    It can happen with psychics but it can also happen to people who are sensitive to that plane, but not psychic. The only spirits that I have ever seen were animals. Its never been humans that I can recall...

    It's an uncommon ability. Accept it as a gift. I don't think there's anything that can get rid of it, but I have heard of other psychic abilities being impaired by brain tumours.
