I secretly admire my friend that is a girl (i'm a guy)

I'm a guy and I've always had just drop dead gorgeous girlfriends, and I'm not bad looking, the lowest rate a girl has ever given me is an 8. But there is this girl that is my friend and she isn't that pretty in the face but I'm in love with her personality. I think that she has the most perfect body and eyes. I just want to love her. But the girls I get with are always hated my the other girls in my school and the other girls usually tell me how ugly my girlfriend is and stuff out of pure jealousy, when they never are due to my very high standards. But what I'm asking is should I go for her and potentially cause problems with her social life with other girls, or keep her as a friend?:(

    Does she even like you as more than a friend? That should be the first thing you should consider. If she does, go for it :P

    If you really are 'in love' with her personality and can see yourself being with her then go for it. Personality is FAR more important in the long run. Beauty fades. Being with someone who you have things in common with and enjoy being around and just talking to them is a keeper.

    You know what u need to do if others become jealous of her And cause problems for her? You need to seriously stick up for her and not let people do that... If your aren't willing to, then just stay friends if it's going to be that much of an issue for her ... As a boyfriend you should defend her if you ever dated her. Also be sure that you want to be with her...
