I s this normal, or gay?

I'm a girl, and one of my best friends is a guy. He mostly hangs out with girls, but has a couple close other guy friends. But with these guy friends, he's really close. They make gay and sexual jokes towards eachother, all the time. They lay in a bed together but make jokes about it. I don't know if they are doing it to be funny or if they're legit gay. IIN?

I don't like your question. "Normal or gay?"

nah, boys are just boy, they do it too. Even I as a gay person, i do not crack up jokes about myself. You should not generalize everyone who makes homosexual jokes to be gay right?

on top of that, girls/boys often has slumber parties together or communal sleeping sessions, that does not make them gay.

Could go either way. I'm a straight guy and I make gay jokes all the time, don't have problems making physical contact with my male friends to an extent. But it's generally nothing more than a hug to greet them or a quick arm around the shoulder here and there. I have no desire to consistently touch somebody that I am not sexually attracted to, so if they are going overboard their may be some bi-curiosity going on.

I would define overboard stuff as:

-excessive hugging when they are drinking- I knew a guy in college who always tried to hug me when he drunk, he had a gf but it strongly came off as homo to me
-coming dangerously close to kissing in jest- it may be funny for some but i prefer for my mouth to not get too close to another man's
-frequently holding hands for no reason- i'd be OK with this for like 2 secs on rare occasions as a joke, but if they're comfortable doing it on the regular it's homo
-any sort of cuddling is decidedly gay

When people are that comfortable with their sexuality that theyre able to make jokes about being gay, they're probably straight. It's the homophobic jerk-offs who usually turn out to be gay.

regardless of whether they're straight or gay... if they're truly your friends, does it really matter?
