I really *really* hate my nose

Ok, I'll try to be brief. My nose is big, flat and the closest thing I'd compare it to is...well, a potato. Not only does it stand out from my face (which overall I'm quite pleased with), it's also got this weird, "boneless" feeling to it, you can practically squeeze it, unlike the noses of pretty much all my friends (yes, I actually did check that, I'm that weird). Anyway, I've been bullied about my nose ever since I can remember and when in public, I still cannot shrug off the feeling that someone looks at it and makes fun of it secretly (or not, whenever I hear somebody laugh, I automatically try to cover my nose with anything, be it a scarf or an open book). I tried about everything to make it look smaller, safe for a plastic surgery which I cannot really afford atm, but in vain. Does anyone else feel uncomfortable about their nose? Is it normal that at the age of 21 I still cannot accept it?

BTW, sorry for any spelling/grammar mistakes, I'm not a native speaker

I hate my nose, too. I never liked the idea of plastic surgery for myself, but I've considered it for my nose.
I've learned to live with it, though. Nobody can be perfect.

We all feel self-conscious about parts of our body, and some of us are unfortunate to have one feature that is the central focus of our insecurity because it's noticeably different from the ordinary / ideal. So it's normal to worry about your nose, especially since you've been bullied about it.

The three options you have are:
    1) to try and change your opinion of your nose
    2) to try and change your nose
    3) to continue on with this particular insecurity.

The HOA head at my apartment has a gigantic bulbous nose with a deep 'crack' down one nostril. Your nose doesn't even sound a quarter as weird as his.

It's perfectly normal. I dislike my nose too, and I know a lot of people who really hate their noses. I've also got at least 10 friends who've had nose jobs.

Maybe there will come a time it won't affect you anymore, but if it still is then do what you can to get a nose job, because it's not worth it just thinking about it and being depressed all the time. I bet it isn't even that bad, people don't notice your nose much anyway. No one else would think it's bad or ugly because it's your nose and you have to live with it and you're your own worst critic. I used to hate my nose, but for some reason it stopped bothering me. It's quite wide and slightly crooked and I would probably pay the money to have surgery if we're talking 2 years ago and I had the money, but since then, I don't even care about it anymore.

Normal to think thiiiiiis way. Rhinoplasty is one of the most sought after surgical procedures. the nose add s symmetry to the face, and symmetry is biological ly attractive, and socially. Unfortunately a big our miss shapen nose makes the entire face...well, not so pleasant. You can have beautiful eyes lips but the nose is RIGHT uh the middle of your face of course its going to matter.

There is no remedy but altering the shape of the nose, sorry you can though use makeup brush a linear line down your nose to give the illusion that your nose is not so big. The re at actual tutorials on this. You tube it
